I'm a painter. I work slowly, from a small home studio — most mornings begin with tea, a few minutes of looking, then a brush. I'm drawn to quiet light, and to the kind of small things that sit still on purpose.

The name came from a painting I made on a long ride home, when I was too tired to hold a careful line. I let the imprecision in, and the work became truer for it. I've been working that way ever since — attentive, unhurried, a little in passing.
